What is a 5 Axis CNC Machine

 

Five-axis CNC machining is a multi-axis subtractive manufacturing process that involves the movement of the cutting tool along five directions or axes (X, Y, Z, A, and B). Plastics

PTFE has excellent corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and outstanding self-lubricating properties. It is non-sticky, non-toxic, and has good electrical insulation.  It is widely used in sealing parts, bearings, chemical equipment, and electronic insulation components.
PU is a good toughness and high wear resistance. It has outstanding shock absorption performance, strong weather resistance and good chemical stability, while being lightweight and easy to process. It features softness adjustable in a wide range, good adhesion and sealing performance, making it suitable for many complex structural parts. It is widely used in seals, gaskets, cushioning parts, automotive components, medical devices and various flexible mechanical parts.
POM is a high-performance engineering plastic with high rigidity, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. It features outstanding wear resistance, good fatigue resistance, and strong mechanical strength, making it ideal for structural and moving components. It is widely used in gears, bearings, fasteners, automotive parts, and precision mechanical components.
PC is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its exceptional impact resistance and high transparency. Acrylic(PMMA) is a lightweight and highly transparent thermoplastic with excellent light transmission, similar to glass. It is available in various colors and finishes, with stable dimensional stability and good insulation properties. It is widely used in lighting, displays, signage, architectural decoration, and optical components.
PVC is a good chemical resistance, excellent electrical insulation and low cost. It has high rigidity, stable dimensional stability and good processability, and can be made into rigid or flexible products by adding plasticizers. It is flame retardant, weather resistant and easy to bond, print and machine. It is commonly used in pipes, fittings, insulation parts, housings, seals and various non-structural mechanical components.
PEEK is a exceptional heat resistance, high mechanical strength and excellent dimensional stability. It possesses outstanding wear resistance, good chemical corrosion resistance and outstanding fatigue performance, while maintaining stable properties under high temperature and harsh environments. It also has excellent electrical insulation, low moisture absorption and good machinability for precision processing. It is widely used in aerospace, automotive, medical devices, electronic components and high-end precision mechanical parts.
PA (Nylon) is a widely used engineering thermoplastic with excellent toughness, high wear resistance and good self-lubricating properties. It has strong impact resistance, good fatigue endurance and chemical stability, while being lightweight and easy to machine. It also features good insulation performance and high processability, making it suitable for complex structural parts. It is widely applied in gears, bearings, seals, automotive components, electronic parts and precision mechanical accessories.
ABS is a general-purpose engineering plastic with excellent impact resistance, good rigidity and high toughness. It has stable dimensional stability, easy machining and coloring, as well as good surface hardness and wear resistance. It also features good electrical insulation, chemical resistance and low cost, making it widely used in various structural parts and casings.
